Why is my reservation considered a request?

Most restaurants prefer speaking with you before confirming a reservation for a large group. After you have used the ‘Group button’ when making the online reservation, it enters the restaurant’s agenda as a request. The restaurant will contact you as soon as possible to discuss and/or confirm your booking. As long as they haven’t confirmed the request, the reservation is placed in ‘in request

If it takes too long before you receive a confirmation, you are always free to get in touch with the restaurant by phone or email.
